1st ed, 1st imp [1951]. Blue publisher's cloth boards (a little edge worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, a couple of marks). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Internally neat and clean barring occasional spotting. In its original worn and edge-rubbed dust jacket (small chip on sunned spine, shelf wear). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. A Max Thursday thriller, written by the prolific mystery duo, Robert Wade and Ben Miller. 1st UK edition, likely preceded by publication in the US earlier the same year.
