224pp. Lavishly illustrated. Cloth covered boards (sharp and bright). A small dot on the half title page. In its original dust jacket (very gently bumped at edges). Cliveden, in Buckinghamshire, is one of the great country houses of England. Designed by Charles Barry, it overlooks the Thames surrounded by magnificent countryside. This is the history of the house, and of two houses which stood on the same site previously. Handsome, heirloom volume. A large and heavy volume which will likely require an additional charge for shipping beyond the UK.
