First edition, first impression. 186pp. Numerous line drawing illustrations and decorations throughout text, all by Nina Brisley. Orange cloth boards (a little rubbed and worn at edges and spine joints, patchily faded but still strong and square). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring occasional spotting and previous owner's name on fly leaf. A collection of 13 fairy tale-style stories. A charming vintage volume. Stories include The Tale of King Soloman, The Tale of the Harvest Bun, The Cat that Climbed the Christmas Tree, The Hill-Man's Little Bag and The Tale of Mr T Todd and Mr Littlefrog.
