Dust jackets(s) with a Brodart-style, paper-backed, protective sleeve fitted by previous owner.
First edition, first impression. 270pp. Blue cloth boards, gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rounded at spine ends, top text block edge dust darkened. Faint strip tanning on endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, not price clipped, a little chipped at spine ends, flat corner crease on verso, which shows a little shelf wear and scuffs. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A novel concerning a Naval Officer's forced adjustment to civilian life.
