First edition, first impression. 240pp, plus numerous monochrome plate photographic illustrations. In matte black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little dull, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Mild spotting on text block edges and prelims, light toning on endpapers, else internally neat and clean. In its original dust jacket, illustrated, not price clipped, gently rubbed at corners and spine tips, rubbed with small loss at spine head, gently bumped on rear upper edge. A unique record of four epic years of motor racing.
