True first (1st ed, 1st imp). 218p plus publisher's adverts at rear. Colour plate frontispiece plus eight further half-tone plate illustrations, all by Harry Riley. Red cloth-covered boards, illustrated on front and spine. 12mo. Boards a lightly soiled and a little rubbed and rounded at extremities. Spine slightly sunned. Previous owner's neat inscription, dated 1921, on front free endpaper. Joint cracked between front free endpaper and bastard title but otherwise binding sound. Some light spotting. Neat, square and tight volume.
