First edition, first printing. 268pp, with numerous two-colour illustrations throughout. In cream cloth-covered boards with red and green lettering and decorations front and spine. 8vo. Boards lightly rubbed at corners and spine ends, a little soiled. Previous owner's gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1944, mild signs of compression to first few pages else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
