First edition, first impression.  224pp, with colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text.  In green cloth covered boards with black lettering front and spine.  12mo.  Cloth just a tad rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends.  Upper text block edge a little toned.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, bumped at edges, a little crushed on corners and spine ends, slightly sunned over spine with a hint of shelf wear on verso. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Frank Richards was one of the many pen names of Charles Hamilton (1876-1961), one of the most popular and prolific authors of boy's school stories and long-running series stories featuring recurring characters.  Perhaps best known for the Greyfriars School stories featuring Billy Bunter, he also created St Jim's School starring Tom Merry and Rockwood School, under the pen name Owen Conquest.  We have many Charles Hamilton books in stock and can offer generous discounts to those ordering more than one book at a time - please inquire.
