[1922] 224pp, with colour plate frontispiece (by Eva), further colour plates and various line drawings in text.  In pictorial boards (by A E Bestall) with canvas spine.  4to. Boards are heavily worn at edges, rubbed and rounded on corners, with some scratches and fading, shelf wear visible on verso. Both hinges broken, loosening boards. Some spotting on endpapers, which have damaged edges, else internally neat and clean. The first Schoolgirls' Own Annual produced by the Amalgamated Press who also published the story paper of the same name. Features some stories and articles regarding Bessie Bunter, Billy Bunter's sister, a pupil at Cliff House School and other stories by Frank Richards writing under the pen name Hilda Richards.
