[1939]. Book is not dated, publication date estimated from inscription on another copy. Unpaginated but circa 200pp, with four full colour plates, six half tones and many more line drawings in text. In pictorial boards. Small folio. Boards a little bumped at spine ends and corners, remarkably clean and bright. A hint of toning on endpapers. Frontispiece coming away at top else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original, scarce, dust wrapper, a little rubbed and chipped on corners and spine ends with minor loss at spine head, a couple of nicks on upper rear edge. A remarkably clean and bright volume in its scarce dust wrapper. Handsome and imposing. Dust jacket now protected in a removable Brodart-style sleeve.
