First thus. Reproduction of the first edition. 270pp, with 12 colour plates and nearly 100 black and white illustrations in text. Illustrated endpapers. 8vo. In as new condition throughout. In its original illustrated dust wrapper, very slightly rubbed at spine tail. Dust wrapper now protected in a clear Mylar-style wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
A handsome, heirloom volume in gift-giving quality. A beautiful reproduction of the first edition. Increasingly hard to find, especially in this bright and fresh condition.
