First edition, second impression. 16pp. Light card covers, stapled. 8vo. Foxed and tanned, light chipping to edges and wear to covers, corners creased. Staples oxisiding, affecting pages, middle pages loosely laid-in. Internally, neat and clean.
The first part of Eliot's 'Four Quartets', firts published as part of a collection of Eliot's early works. The latter three parts were written during the air raids of the Second World War and first published in a series by Faber and Faber between 1940 and 1942.
