First edition, first impression. 160pp, with line drawings in text, maps on endpapers. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Top edge sprayed blue. 8vo. Boards a little rounded at corners and spine ends else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original matte illustrated dust wrapper, gently rubbed on extreme edges, a little more markedly so around the spine head.
The true story of the schooner Driftwood and how it was navigated some 2500 miles through high seas and treacherous inland waterways from Lake Ontario, bound for the Bahamas.
