256pp, with colour plate frontispiec, further colour plates and black and white illustrations throughout. In pictorial glazed boards with canvas over spine. 8vo. Boards bright, gently rounded at corners, spine cloth rubbed and faded on extremities, boards almost wholly detached from text block. Text block edges darkened. Front free endpaper has multiple creases else internally neat clean. Two gutters cracked resulting in volume being loose.
