32pp plus 18 full colour plate illustrations of Churchill's paintings. Pale olive cloth boards (worn and faded at edges, slightly rounded at corners, a few marks). Internally, possibly a hint of old water exposure on endpapers, else neat, clean, bright and tight. Churchill's three pictures on the line at the Royal Academy and his election as an Honorary Academician Extraordinary aroused great interest in this accomplishments as a painter, prompting the publication of this book. This volume contains reproductions in full colour of 18 of Churchill's paintings and is introduced by a reprint of his two brilliant essays on hobbies and painting.
