In 1943 George Bickham published "The British Monarchy; Or a New Chorographical Description of all the Dominions Subject to the King of Great Britain".ย  The book had 240 pages containing 48 maps, including 43 bird's eye county maps, and was lavishly illustrated with engravings.ย  The text was a brilliant example of penmanship, with an interesting account of Britain and its Empire.ย  The original publication is very rare and complete copies almost unobtainable.ย  This present volume offered here is the first republication of that work, a facsimilie reproduction of the original, preceded by a brief introduction on the history of the publication and its significance.
