Cloth a little dull, lightly rubbed at edges, gently rounded at spine ends, partially mottled on verso.  Previous owner's name, dated 1892, on front free endpaper.  Tissue guard a little browned else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. An anthology of humours prose passages selected by Mark Twain.  Contributors include Twain himself, S S Cox, W D Howells, Burdette, Josh Billings, G T lanigan, Mortimer M Thompson, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Mary Maples Dodge and many others.
