First edition. 208pp, with black and white plate frontispiece. Brown cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Maps on endpapers. 8vo. Cloth rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little faded, sunned over spine. Internally a few signs of handling else neat, clean and tight.
One of A G Street's harder to find titles. It chronicles his experiences as a farmer in adjusting to the conditions of farming during the second world war and in the face on increasing interference from Government in the industry.
