First edition. 70pp, plus black and white plate illustrations. Yellow cloth boards with blue lettering on spine. 16mo. Cloth gently pushed at corner points and spine tips. Upper text block edge dust darkened. Some faint spotting on endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
Mr Gee's little book of his pilgrimage to Epworth in Lincolnshire, the birthplace of methodist John Wesley, demonstrates nicely the joys of pilgrimage as well as celebrating Epworth, its significance and the hospitality of its people. A sweet and curious volume.
