In its original laminated, illustrated dust wrapper, bumped at edes with a few short closed nicks from edges and mild compression marks around spine. A substantial volume, nicely presented, with impressive illustrations and decorative initial caps.  It text is divided into chapters on various symbols - beasts, birds, trees, flowers, crowns, coronets etc, and then explains the inheritance patterns of each heraldic symbol etc.
