Cloth just a little pushed at spine tips else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust wrapper, very slightly bumped at extreme edges, very slightly shelf worn.
Contains a biography of Heinrich Schliemann and an account of his controversial excavations at Troy as well as studying artefacts recovered from the city, including those that were hidden in Berlin and the USSR for decades. Selection of related newspaper clippings and journal articles loosely laid in.
