First edition, first impression. 94pp, illustrated with line drawings. Pink publisher's cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. 12mo. Cloth a little rounded on corners and spine ends, upper text block edge spotting else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust wrapper, slightly bumped at edges and a little shelf worn.
Odgen Nash joined the advertising department of Doubleday, Page and Company in 1925 and later joined the editorial staff of the New Yorker. From that time, he devoted himself to writing, producing over 20 books, with popular success, and a musical, One Touch of Venus.
