First edition, first impression.  284, [2]pp.  Pink cloth-covered boards with gilt decorations and gilt lettering on black relief on spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rubbed at rounded corners and spine ends.  Volume slanted.  Previous owner's name neatly inked in front free endpaper.  Hint of toning else internally neat, clean and tight.  In its original paper dust wrapper, worn and faded, chapped at edges, shelf worn and sunned over spine. A continuation to Lucas's Windfall's Eve, with some of the same characters and wanderings as far afield as Ceylon.
