Illustrated endpapers. 8vo.  Cloth very slightly pushed at spine ends else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original laminated dust wrapper, lightly bumped at edges, a little shelf worn, remains of previous price label on front panel. Alfred Deller (1912-1979) was an English singer, a key figure in the return of the countertenor sound in Renaissance and Baroque music and an advocate of original instrumental performance.
