First edition, first impression. 92pp, with black and white illustrations and a map. Glazed pictorial boards. 8vo. Covers a little worn, slightly pushed at corners and ends of a sunned spine. Very slightly skew, Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A history of Shoreham Airport (often called Brighton Airport) - with the first flight (by aviator - and artist - Harold H Piffard) from the site in 1910, and an official opening in 1911, it is the oldest airport in Britain and the oldest purpose-built commercial airport still in operation in the world.
