First edition, first impression. xii, 232pp, with tissue-guarded colour plate frontispiece, 23 further colour plates interleaved with text and large folding map of the central and northern Cotswolds bound in at rear. Decorative green cloth-covered boards gilt and red design and gilt lettering front and spine. Top edge gilt. 8vo. Cloth is rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, mild ridge on spine, minor loss at spine head, small crack in cloth on rear joint, some very mild marks on verso. Some spotting on tissue guard else internally neat, clean and bright.
