Germany's Violations of the Laws of War, 1914-1915

First English Language edition, first printing.  xxxviii, 344pp.  Red cloth-covered boards, black lettering on front panel and the spine. 8vo.  Cloth is worn and faded, rubbed around edges and spine joints, gently rounded at corners and spine base, heavily rubbed and fraying at spine head.  Text block edges a little toned.  Front hinge weaken, slightly loosening front panel.  Some faint spotting on endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A collection of primary documents establishing Germany's actions, and violations of the rules of warfare, with an extensive introduction and analysis.  Compiled just a year into the first world war, it is a substantial documentation of the allies' case for engagement.
