Two Volumes, both published in 1990. (1) Baddesley Clinton, Warwickshire: 60pp stapled booklet with black and white illustrations, in stiff card covers.ย  8vo.ย  (2) The Church of St Michael, Baddesley Clinton: 6-panelled folded leaflet of stiff card, with black and white illustrations.ย  Both volumes have some gentle edge wear to card covers, else neat, clean, bright and tight. Baddesley Clinton is a 13t century moated manor house, now in the care of the National Trust: it was the home of the Ferrers family from the mid 16th century, a prominent recusant Roman Catholic family.ย  The original owner of the manor, Nicholas Brome, rebuilt the nearby parish church of St Michael's as a penance having murdered the parish priest, a crime said to have been committed in the house itself.
