First edition, first printing.  92, [viii]pp, plus several black and white plate illustrations.  Green decorated cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine. Title page printed in red and black.  12mo.  Cloth a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded on corners and ends of a faded spine.  Previous owner's name inked on the front free endpaper.  Some tanning on endpapers otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A lovely vintage gardening book, with practical advice for the cottage gardening from the early years of the 20th century.
