Revised edition.  64pp, plus black and white plate illustrations, sketched drawings in text.  Rec cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Boards a little bowed, cloth gently rubbed at corners and spine ends.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring some minor rippling on frontispiece.  In its original worn and chipped dust wrapper, a little rubbed around edges and perhaps a tad faded, sunned over spine and some mild but visible shelf wear on verso. First published in 1932, Riding Reflections includes the first written description and analysis of 'the forward seat' as developed within the Italian army; and as such is one of the most important and influential works on horsemanship and riding of the early 20th century.
