Heath Robinson's Book of Goblins: A Collection of Folk-lore and Fairy Tales

Undated but circa 1934.  v, 6-240pp, with colour plate frontispiece and six further colour plate illustrations, and 50+ line drawings in text, all by Heath Robinson.  Dark blue pebble-grained cloth with gilt-stamped lettering and blind decorations front and spine.  4to.  Cloth is worn and faded, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, with some patchy mottling on front panel, lower half of spine and onto rear board (consistent with old, inert water exposure). Text block edges spotted.  Some mild toning on endpapers and a little mild spotting on first and last few leaves.  Small nick at a base of title page else internally neat and clean.  Colour plates remain bright and vivid.
