First edition, first printing.  176pp, with photographic plate illustrations and black and white drawings in text.  Green cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the front and spine. 8vo.  Cloth a little worn, gently rubbed on joints, corners and spine ends,  a few mild marks.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A now very hard to find title on the niche collecting genre of sealed bottles, with chapters on Tavern Bottles, The Gentleman's (or private) Bottle, Private and Museum Collections, Dated Bottles and Seals before and after 1700, Crests and Coates of Arms etc.
