Second edition. x, 550pp, with black and white frontispiece and photographic illustrations (plate and in text) throughout. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Sun-faded (worse where there is dust jacket loss), rubbed at corners and spine ends with cloth worn through. Endpapers starting to tan and fox, previous owner's rubber stamps on front endpapers and rear pastedown; otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring some occasional foxing. Dust jacket tanning and foxing, has loss, chipping and wear.
