Three volumes in single slipcase (the complete Folio Society History of England series comprises 12 volumes).  All volumes uniformly bound in strong blue buckram cloth, with gilt decorative frames on the upper panel, gilt decorations and lettering on pale blue relief on spine.  Upper text block edges sprayed deep blue. Pale blue endpapers.  Volume I (1997, first thus), xxxvi, 364pp; Volume II, (1997, first thus), xxii, 452pp, with colour plate illustrations; Volume IIII (1997, first thus), xxiv, 534pp, with colour plate illustrations.  4tos.  All volumes are in near fine condition being neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Housed in a bespoke strong card slipcase, a little shelf worn and very gently brushed on corners.
