1st thus (with the illustrations by Harold Jones), 4th printing. 220pp, with many line drawings in text. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt motif and gilt lettering on the spine. Illustrated endpapers. 8vo. Cloth a little rounded on corners, slightly bumped at spine tips. Previous owner's name pencilled on the half title page else neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, a little bumped around the extreme edges, some gentle shelf wear.
A very attractive and pleasing edition of this classic children's story.
