Volume I (of II) only.  Second edition.  xvi, 584pp.  Plain paper-covered boards, printed title label on spine.  8vo.  Boards are heavily worn and scratched, rubbed to round on corners, scuffed at spine head, stained and marked, cracked along spine joints with lower portion of backstrip absent.  Text block edges spotted.  Internally there's some spotting on the first and last few pages, quite heavily on endpapers, else internally neat and clean.  Complete and firmly bound.
