426, [2]pp, tissue-guarded colour plate frontispiece and further extensively illustrated with colour plates, photographic illustrations and technical sketches and drawings etc. Quarter bound in grey cloth over green paper-covered boards with black lettering front and spine. 12mo. Boards are a little worn all over, gently rubbed on edges and lightly rounded on corners and ends of a tanned spine. Text block edges darkened and dull. Front hinge cracked. Gift inscription neatly inked opposite the half title else internally neat, clean and bright barring a few minor signs of use.
