186pp, with colour plate frontispiece, eight further colour plate illustrations and numerous line drawings in text, all by Mabel Lucie Attwell.  Blue cloth-covered boards with large pictorial onlay on front panel, gilt lettering to spine. Deckled edges.  8vo.  Boards are worn and dull, gently rounded at corners and spine ends, with some shelf wear, minor indentations on rear, pictorial onlay visibly rubbed with a couple of small scuffs near edges.  Previous owner's name on from paste down, repeated on title page. There's a little gentle rounding at some page corners and a hint of aging to page faces. Volume a little loose but holding.  All colour plates remain clean and neat and compelling. A lovely vintage copy of this classic children's tale.  Barrie's timeless characters, Peter, Wendy and Tinkerbell are immortalised in Neverland by the charming and suitably ethereal illustrations of Mabel Lucie Attwell.
