The Puffing Billy Railways is a volunteer-operated narrow gauge steam train railway in the southern foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, near the city of Melbourne, Australia.ย The original branch line opened in 1900 to carry timber out of Gembrook as well as local farming produce and the nearby Nobelius nursery and orchard.
