Sun-faded, heavily rubbed extremities, cloth worn through in places; a little cocked; shelf number written on spine. Top text block edge dust damaged, remaining edges tanning; some soiling to fore edge. remaining edges just starting to fox and tan. Lender's stamps and markings on front endpapers and early front prelims; pages ageing, volume shaken. Otherwise, internally neat, clean, barring some staining on pages 21/22.
