First edition, first printing. xviii, 186, [6]pp, with occasional colour plate illustrations. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration front and spine. 8vo. Cloth is a little tired, gently rubbed at corners and spine ends. Hint of toning on endpapers and slight waviness to frontispiece only. In its original matte, illustrated dust wrapper. A little chipped and bumped on edges, shelf worn, with small area of loss on rear panel lower edge.
