Biggles Hits the Trail

First edition, in a 'pyramid' binding.  254pp, with a colour plate frontispiece and a several full page illustrations interleaved in text.  Illustrated blue cloth-covered boards with black titles front and spine.  12mo. Cloth is rubbed, rounded at corners and around spine, spine faded with a ridge in cloth lengthways and small hole at base, some discolouration in margins.  Text block edges toned and spotted.  Two previous owner's names inked on the front free endpaper, some mild spotting throughout, more markedly on first and last few leaves.  Frontispiece fragile.  Some mild signs of handling and use throughout.
