First English language edition (previously published in the original Italian), first printing. xviii, [iv], 210pp, with two maps. Black cloth-covered boards with silver stamped lettering on green relief on the spine. 8vo. Cloth very slightly rounded at the base of the spine, with a couple of tiny spot marks on front panel. Previous owner's name neatly inked on the front free endpaper. In its original slightly shelf worn and price clipped dust jacket. Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Brodart-style wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
