88pp, with extra engraved title page (showing Mrs William Crawford as Mariamne). Half bound in red leather over marbled boards. 16mo. Boards are heavily worn, rubbed and scuffed, with remnants of a covering label over the upper portion of the front panel. Some staining affecting corners of endpapers else internally generally neat, clean and tight barring a few minor signs of handling. Firmly bound and tight.
Mariamne is a 1723 tragedy penned by Elijah Fenton. It is based on the biblical story of Mariamne, wife of Herod the Great.
