Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original laminated, illustrated dust wrapper, a little shelf worn and very gently bumped on extreme edges, small nick on lower leading corner. An examination of the German National Socialism of the early part of the 20th century which sets to one side its appeal as a new religion and focusses on the vision of humankind as a part of nature, allowing 'for a fusion of idealism and pragmatism singular in its nature and effectiveness. The author sees National Socialism as embodying the search for what Mircea Eliade has called 'sacred time' - the opportunity to step out of the terror of history'.
