First edition, first impression.  236pp, illustrated with sample card hands and plays, and complate with large fold out chart in pocket on rear paste down..  Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  16mo.  Cloth slightly rubbed at corners and spne ends, a couple of minor marks.  Text block edges a little toned.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A sequel to Bridge and Ruff's Club, published a year earlier, this volume contains 52 sample bridge hands demonstrating the principles of sound bidding; it is also a microcosism of the card-playing world, told in semi-narrative style.
