First edition, first printing.  192pp.  Bound in publisher's blue buckram cloth, gilt titles to spine.  8vo.  Cloth boards in very good condition with two faint marks on the rear panel and light shelf wear at spine tips, a little spotting on upper text block edge.  Internally neat, bright, clean and tight.  In its original illustrated dust wrapper, not price clipped, very slightly rubbed along extreme edges in places.  Dust wrapper now presented in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper which has been fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A charming story of cats for children from the popular British novelist Antonia White, perhaps better known for 'Frost in May'.
