First edition, first impression.  128pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and further monochrome plate illustrations interleafed in text.  Brown cloth-covered boards with gitl titles on spine.  8vo.  Cloth just a little rounded on corners and spine ends.  Slight spotting on the text block edges.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.   In its original illustrated dust wrapper, worn, rubbed and scuffed on edges with some minor loss, price clipped and shelf worn. Hylton Cleaver sets out the equestrian biographies fo 12 leading female horsewomen from the early 1950s and in doing so advances his argument that women should in included in international equestrian teams at events such as a Olympics.
