Complete in two volumes.ย  Lavishly produced and copiously illustrated in full colour, a two volume auction and exhibition catalogue produced for the disposal of atlases and geographies from the Wardington Library, from Wardington Manor in Banbury, Oxfordshire (the late Lord Wardington decide to sell the important collection following a fire at the family which nearly destroyed it - the atlases were saved by residents of the nearby village who formed a human chain to remove the collection from the burning house).ย  Two matching volumes bound in red cloth-covered boards, gilt stamped lettering and tipped in image on front cover.ย  Illustrated endpapers.ย  Cloth on both volumes gently rounded at corners and spine ends, with small indentation on the leading edge of Part I.ย  A very nice set.
