First edition, first impression. 248pp. Green cloth boards, black lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends; heavily faded over spine and at edges; a little worn and marked. Text block edges a little toned wit some spotting on first and last few pages.
The 1940 film 'Just William' was not based on the book of that title - the first in the Just William series - but on a selection of story sequences taken from six of the Just William books. It is those stories which appear in this volume.
